DogHair Technologies is the world's first triple-tiered boutique design, technology, and research.
Providing the world's most fantastical, consumer-focused, and planet-first art and technology.
DogHair Technologies is the umbrella corporation that owns the portfolio. Each consumer product carries its own brand, Petworking and The Hoard, and the studio stands quietly behind them.
For the next 90 days every founder is on one thing: Petworking. The Hoard keeps running. Other DogHair work is kept, not cancelled, and waits its turn.
DogHair is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Pushing the limits of magic and science.
This is the organizing idea of the whole company, not a tagline to retire after launch. The mission and the tagline are the same line by design. It is never one pole without the other. Every product has to be defensible by an engineer and felt by a stranger.
The reference behind it is Clarke's law, that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. DogHair builds on both halves of that sentence at once. The science is the real engineering, the rigor, the homework. The magic is the felt result, the wonder and the sense that the thing should not be possible.
Wonder, delight, the feeling that the object is alive. The promise to the user.
Power budgets that close, certification paths costed honestly, an item engine that uses feature matching and refuses to hallucinate.
Both pet owners.
CEO · Culture ArchitectRaymond, also known as Anotidashe or Dashe, calls himself a Renaissance Maker. He has never stayed in a single space, and his one goal has always been to make something. What he makes matters less than the one rule: it has to be good.
After a decade of creative work, individual contribution, helping teams evolve, and pushing the boundaries of storytelling for a range of brands, he is now focusing everything on making. The idea of DogHair has existed for over ten years, evolving in name (it began as Pretty Perfect Media) and in what it could represent and execute. Art, science, technology, and magic share one beautiful bridge. Each requires ingenuity, practice, and care to pull off properly, and DogHair exists to connect those spaces using the skills that define them.
With over a decade in marketing, seven years in tech, and more than 25 years of creating, Raymond leads DogHair as CEO and Culture Architect, with a vision of building a company that helps shape a better world.
I'm a collector. I built The Hoard because I was tired of the same three things happening at every con: getting undercut, getting overcharged, or trading with someone carrying bad product. Nobody was fixing that.
